| I guess I'm in the minority in that I actually liked the 'urban' levels in TR:L the best, but apparently so many other people complained about anything that wasn't yet-another-ancient-ruin that they went back to that formula for the latest Tomb Raider. TR:A was definitely cool as a remake though. |

+78 Internets | Legends was a great game for what it is, the area where you climbing the side of building from the roof with the moveable billboards was the only time I have ever felt a sense of height that made me a bit queezy. I am afraid of heights but I still do bungie jumping and rollercoasters, was almost the same feeling I get when really high up somewhere. I can't get Beyond Good and Evil working properly. It is either a slow down mess or it moves at super speeds ![]() |

+25 Internets | don't think I've played any tomb raider games, except maybe 5 min on a store demo sometime in the 90's. What are they like and worth spending the time to try it out? (yes, at this price the time is more important then the cost!) |

+78 Internets | Yeah they are a blast to play, the controls got a lot tighter once the series hit the revamp but the old school versions are still fun to play if you can get past the graphics. |

| I approve of this decision and the message it sends. I generally never buy games until they reach the discounted $20 level. This of course means that I don't play games until they're 1-2 years old, but I don't really care. My gameplay experience and that of someone playing the most cutting-edge games is the same. The only differences are abstract, and I end up paying less. I'm a huge fan of anthology collections. I recently bought the Medal of Honor Anniversary and Dawn of War bundle packs for $20 each. Great deals. A word of warning about the Tomb Raider series. They get the most attention for Lara's jiggling figure. What's not often mentioned is that they're pretty damn hard, although the later ones toned down the difficulty.

+2 Internets | I don't know whether to praise Valve for doing this or curse them for making me buy games that I might not even play just because they are so cheap. I picked up Tomb Raider Anniversary just because what the hell is $5 to me anyway. Who knows if I'll ever get around to even playing it, but there it is in my Steam games lol ![]() |

| I picked up tomb raider this weekend from steam. Really satisfied with it. And for 5 bucks you cant go wrong. Frame rate was very solid for my 7600. Even worked with my XBox controller which I was happy about as well. <3 Steam

| 50% off all Strategy First titles until next Monday. There's not really anything new in there worth mentioning, but if you've never played Jagged Alliance 2 or Disciples 2 there's a package with JA2 and Disciples 2 Gold for $15. JA2 is ancient now, but it was the first of the X-Com-like games that actually surpassed the original (but unfortunately it too is pretty rough compared to more recent TBS engines like Silent Storm's), and Disciples 2 is something every fan of the HoMM series should play. Edit: Culpa Innata is a pretty good deal for $5 too, if you're a fan of adventure games. The game was a bit too ambitious for its own good and they didn't really pull it off, but it's still worth playing. |

Wow $2.50 for Ghost Master. I paid $30 shortly after it came out and it was worth every penny. It's a quality game and although it has limited replay value, the first playthrough is great. It's especially fun if you're a fan of horror movies cause the entire game is parody after parody. I still break it out every October and give it some playtime; it's a great Halloween game. I'm actually tempted to buy it again on Steam just so to add it to my growing list of games. | |

+3 Internets | 3 friends and I bit on the Company of Heroes bundle for $40 as our next game to play online (skirmishes vs AI usually) together.... so can probably expect this to go on sale next weekend. |
