I liked the demo quite a bit, was on the fence but leaning towards buying it, and said fuck it and picked this up. Played most of the day, the game is everything I expected and then some and I'm not done yet. Really excellent all around and I can't wait to get started on the challenge levels. I was worried the combat would be too simplistic but let's just say that is absolutely not even close to being the case. The game is just so...Batman.

Am I the only one walking around and informing everyone that "I'm the God damned Batman?"

This worth it even if you aren't a fan of batman?

Even if you're not a major Batman fan, the game is still worth it. If you liked the movie 'The Dark Knight' even just a little bit you'll like the game. If you didn't.....well I don't know what to say to that!

just finished it this morning with a 75% completion score. it allows you to go back and get all the riddler trophies and stuff afterwards. it did get a tiny bit repetitive toward the end but the last boss fights were pretty memorable. definately my favorite comic book game since maximum carnage for the snes.

my favorite part :spoilers:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
the last scarecrow vision where you are the joker and batman is on a stretcher and joker shoots you point blank and you get the game over screen and it says " wiggle the middle stick to dodge jokers bullet " i was like wtf there is no middle stick on the PS3. then you wake up on a RIP bruce wayne grave and get to be zombie batman for a few minutes in scarecrows world.

I'm no big batman fan and have enjoyed it so far. It's not amazing but it is good.

How did you get back to the batcave after collecting the spores in Killer Croc's lair. I can't figure it out for the life of me. I tried to go through the system access door in Arkham North but it was blocked?

Just like Yahtzee said, there are two kinds of games you stop playing. The first type you stop playing because your bored as hell with... the second type you stop because you realized its 4:00 AM. This game is the latter.

Combat is a true joy. In this game, everytime I see a group of enemies I think "Oh boy!" Every fight is another chance to execute a flawless dance. The combat may be 'simple' but its really really enjoyable. I'd say this really sets a new standard in the way a brawler should be played.

The voice acting is top knotch. Mark Hamil steals the show. His delivery is spot on. If you loved the animated Series Joker, this game raises that bar even higher. Since this isn't a kids show, the script allows Joker to be truly psychotic. Batman isn't to be neglected either. Bale should have tried to talk like this guy instead of Mr. wraspywhisper.

And the detective part of the game is a lot of fun. Solving the riddler's riddles and exploring makes this feel damn near like a metroid game.

All in all, it may be just because I love Batman, but this game is fantastic. I am the god damn Batman.

Oh if you can, get the PS3 version. It allows you to play the Joker in all 8 challenge maps. Its a lot of fun.

I don't even know if I'm anywhere close to beating it, but this is a very good game, definitely in my top 5 all time. I can see myself coming back to replay this a few times.

Went out and bought this game, and I'm glad I did. I had never even heard of Rocksteady before this game, but I like the cut of their jib. It's an awesome game so far, I almost can't put it down.
