| Of those games, I'm only interested in Doom 3 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein... and Doom 3 not so much. So I bought the Wolf Pack, same price as RtCW alone (10 bucks) but also comes with Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny. |

+38 Internets | Quake 4 really didn't suck so much as it was so incredibly medicore. It was so ridiculously 'by the numbers', I think the only originality it had was... uh... umm... I got nothing. Machine guns, shot guns, cyborgs, monsters, shooting, sounds like every other FPS out there. |

+11 Internets | Just noticed they had all the X-Com games on the front page for $4.50 each. I only played the first one (UFO Defense) and the underwater one (can't remember the name). Are the other ones worth a playthrough? I didn't even know they made more than 2 of them. |

+38 Internets | X-com UFO defense is the gem of the series. Must play for any one who even remotely calls themselves a gamer. Terror from the Deep was basically a re-skin of UFO Defense, played exactly the same, but the difficulty was ratcheted up quite a bit. X-com Apocalypse was a new game, new 'engine' if you want to call it that, etc. Played differently but the same. Still a really good game, but I don't enjoy it as much as UFO defense (FUCK THOSE FACEHUGGER LAUNCHERS) X-com Intereceptor and X-com Enforcer... lets just say we don't like to talk about those.... |

+66 Internets | Did they "fix" the Xcom games to run halfway decent on today's computers? I downloaded UFO Defense a year or two back, and it was all fucked. Mouse movement was ridiculously fast, players moved a million miles an hour, when in the world overview even the slowest speed was ridiculously fast, sometimes the colour palette got fucked up etc etc. I still lost like 50 hours in the fucking thing, but it was an annoying 50 hours. |
