wasn't gonna comment on the post by hathe,

but recently there have been several title announcements - of which this is one- that are going to the wii exclusively- that are 3rd party.

slowly but surely the library is/will be improving, which is a good thing.

my son just picked up the starwars complete saga, and that game is just cool, he also got the ben 10 game (HVS software (makers of the upcoming conduit) and that is pretty good from what i observed this morning.

I'm not trolling. Everyone I know has sold their Wii and there are an insane amount of used Wii's at the local gamestops I shop at. I honestly thought the console was going downhill.

that gamestop should be ebaying them then, they STILL are going for more than retail on ebay

just checked, a new wii w/wiiplay & a nunchuck are selling for between 350 and 400 dollars on ebay currently

used with several games are buy it now for ~300-400 dollars as well...

most auctions are right around Retail as well with tons of time left on the clock

plus like kevincheese just posted, still selling like hotcakes. (for comparison the ps2 at it's peak sold under 300k in july...)

Yeah, all news to me. I thought with the lack of major releases on the Wii and with more of the bigger releases catered to PS3 / Xbox 360 it was going down hill. Apparently not. Anyways, it's nice to see a decent looking game come out for the Wii.

Wii on the decline...looks at sales numbers for npd..yup it is

700k may
650k june
550k july

its declining..but the numbers are so high that it's irrelevant- it's still outselling the ps3 & 360 combined even if it was at 475k last month (and has higher software totals as well usually)
