So this was recently released in Japan. Hell, I didn't even know anything about it until it poped up on NeoGAF. But holy shit this is awesome.

Tell us how you feel about it when it does. I almost ordered it, but the price and the not so good sound quality of the M-06 DS Guitar made me resist an impulse buy.

Well, you don't expect good sound quality from DS speakers in any situation. This is meant to be hooked up to other sound equipment.

And I was not talking about the speakers for the DS Guitar. There is a big background noise that is very obvious when notes fade.

No, it shipped though, was on backorder and play-asia didn't reflect that fact when I ordered it. Should be any day.

can't tweak the sequencing on the fly...

which is why shit like stacking 4 of them is necessary:

Very limited in terms of the quality and amount of synth you can achieve but a fun toy.

Sound quality out is horrible to run this through any sort of PA... not even 16/44...

Just got my DS-10 from Amazon the other day. Really fun toy. These two youtube vids inspired me to grab this software. If you're at all remotely inclined to noodle around with music, then you need to get this.
