I like the cartoony art style and animation. I'll reserve judgement on the "shake" part of it. Still, looks like a solid and fun 2D platformer.

Yeah that looks really impressive. I agree there needs to be way more 2D games. Metroid in 3D was yet another boring FPS and sucked compared to the platformers on Nintendo and the GBA. I borrowed a friends copy of the 3D DS Metroid game and gave it back to him 10 minutes later. It isn't worth playing for free.

The platform game I'm looking forward to most though is Fez:
