| Which of the following 2 statements would you associate with this game: Diablo II: stop everything you're doing and go buy this game RIGHT NOW or KOTOR II: I found it at walmart for 20 bucks and it was pretty cool |

On a side Note, just picked up the healer woman and the game is sooo much more easier, although not being able to open one out of every second chest since I have no rogue type in my group is a bit of a fucker.

Its even more shitty due to the nature of being able to take any route you like through the game.To comment on the games difficulty yeah its a complete cunt, even on normal, sometimes I find that when you get a fuck ton of mobs swarming you then you just drop like a sack of shit, im finding myself sometimes just cheesing one mob at a time out of a pack by taking advantage of caster/ranges huge range to only agro one at a time. Just because if the whole lot come some fucking caster drops an aoe bomb and wipes my group out in one go heh. Finding myself saving after every pack of mobs I kill, sometimes you fuck up on dialogue from no fault of your own (shapeshifter mage made some comment to the healer woman and the whole mages group attacked me in the tower so i lost out on having the insane healer/support npc in my party, thank fuck I had just saved it before heh). | Neither, its pretty good so far though. I havent had a game where i'd absolutely coerce somebody to get nor would i say its meh wait until its $20. One thing i kind of dislike is how slow the fucking 2h weapons are. I understand theyre slower but shit its like theyre swinging a concrete pillar around.

| How hard is Soldier's Peak (Warden's Keep DLC)? Can I attempt it right away at level 8'ish?

+25 Internets | I haven't gone to the quest area for the Stone Prisoner yet, but I can tell you that by modifying the xml file and activating the content as instructed previously in the thread I have received all of the items and all DLC is flagged as "Active." I'm glad there's a work around for people who actually bought their CE, not that the extra items are that big of a boost. |

The end of this questline though is pretty epic. Gonna spoiler it so I don't ruin the story choices: Spoiler Alert, click show to read: Hopefully the difficulty isn't progressive, cause that questline was already quite fucking insane and it took a lot of consumables and pausing to get through. On another note, anyone feel like there's no good mage spec for them? I wanna blow things up, but one relies on melee, another on shapeshifting to melee, another on heals, and last one is a mix of CC and nukes which also require you to lose hp. Wish I could have taken a spec based on my points invested, like Primal Mage > Elementalist. Also for people who have done Shapeshifting already maybe, can you cast any spells while in shapeshift form? Last edited by Pyros; 11-03-2009 at 09:26 PM..

| Yeah, the mage specs are all support-oriented, which must have been a conscious decision. I'm at level 9, and the aggro system is quite punishing, so I'd imagine a mage that could specialize in being a glass cannon would find themselves dead after 2 spells in every battle. That may be the reasoning behind it. |
