| Wish I could get it for PC but sadly mine probably would chug trying to run this shit. I got a 3.2ghz Pent 4 with 3g of ram with a 8800 gt. Not sure on the specs, but I dont want to struggle with any kind of lag whatsoever. Thats interesting news about the PS3 release date, Im going to have to cancel the 360 pre order and just get this shit for PS3.

| Most user made mods blow ass, for every game. About the only ones worth a damn are 'beauty mods' (hair, eyes, faces, better bodies, nude bodies) and texture replacers to increase graphics quality. Fallout 3 weather was awesome as well. But as far as quest content and the like? Awful. My favorites are the ones who use fucking txt spk in dialog. Seriously. Most people have no concept of level design or architecture or how not to mix lighting (or how to do lighting at all) etc. I suspect DA will be no different. Tons of nude mods, a couple of assorted things of good quality and a whole mess of shit.

| I'll be getting it for PC as well but I think PC gamers are still a bit on their high horse and don't realize that console based gaming is far, far more popular these days to PC based so the mod community has shrunk. I'd almost argue that the current disparity of PC versus console is the largest we've ever seen. Regardless it doesn't matter. KB/M is still my preference to controller and PC will offer greater resolution and graphical fidelity. |

| Uhh maybe it is, but my processor is older than dirt and ran Prototype like shit, even though it looked like I could run it from looking at the specs. Dont have to worry about any of that bullshit with the 360 or PS.

+2 Internets | You do realize that the PS3 is a dedicated architecture meaning the developers can employee many optimization tricks that they can't with the PC. This is why the PS3 and Xbox360 can get away with have not too great hardware. Also, as already stated, the CPU isn't too great, resulting in the videocard running much slower than it should. Basically, know what you're talking about before you open your mouth. Last edited by Manatra; 10-24-2009 at 05:44 PM.. |

| If I got this for PC, the first point at which I got at all bored I would go make my character a god-killing uber set/sword in the toolset, or just flat out cheat. Which inevitably ruins the game, which means I'll never finish it. Console it is.

| Of course not. Every game in history has some place that gets boring, whether it's breeding chocobos, endless random encounters, some repetitive side-quests, not enough story, not enough combat, too much combat etc. etc. etc. But that in no ways makes any games with those boring spots "bad". I simply know my own history with bioware pc rpg's and I know that 3/4ths of the way in, I'll get pissed off at some tidbit like how I didn't build my character's feats and attributes perfectly or something and instead of plowing forward through the problem, or starting another character, I'll hit ~ and suddenly all of my problems will be fixed for me. Which, like I said, does ruin the game. But I can't help it. Thus, the version of the game I can't cheat in is the one that will be more enjoyable in the end.

| Why cheat though? In my opinion cheating just makes the game an expensive demo.

| I agree, but the cycle has repeated itself too many times to trust myself. I can't help it. The last Bioware pc game I was able to get through without cheating was NWN 1, and that was because I didn't have the internet during that period.
