| Never, ever do this. The load times are unbearable. I have a pretty high threshold for dealing with load times but the PSX version made one of my favorite games ever unplayable. Just play on an SNES emulator if you don't want to play it on the DS (though the DS version will probably have some new stuff). |

There's a DS emulator but 3d rendering is slow on it, a 2d game should be easy-mode for it though. | |

| Oh my god, I NEED THIS NAO. kinda sucks that my SNES Cartridges worth is gonna plumet because itll be easily obtainable now.. yes there was a PS1 port, that had loadtimes and sucked balls. Oh well, definitely glad to see my favorite game to date come to the DS. Although i actually have no idea how that clock is suppose to be a countdown? |

| "Unlike the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest remakes, Chrono Trigger will not receive a graphical overhaul, though it will be reformatted to utilize the DS' dual-screen presentation and touch-screen functionality. The remake will also include a Wireless Play mode and an all-new dungeon. " Interesting on the wireless play mode. New dungeon is not a surprise, they have to do something to make it better then just releasing the original as Wiiware/VC. Wonder if that's the extent to which the game will be enhanced. Other then a few items and such, I would love to see more triple techs, and a few double techs added in. Now they need to do Seiken Densetsu 3, with 3 players instead of 2 and with wi-fi play enabled. Edit* Apparently its due this holiday season, but nothing specified Japan only. So maybe NA release as well, lets hope Edit** This made me dig out the old Chrono Resurrection project that independent group did and then Square shut them down with C/D letters. For those that are interested in what could have been. | Good to know. I'm currently playing through Chrono Cross again on my PSP and once I was done I was likely going to hop into Chrono Trigger again via emulation.
