| MtG Online v3 I get a taste to play MtG from time to time and usually the easiest way to work that out of my system is to blow thirty bucks on MtGO tickets and make a few decks with some cheap rares I like. So, I reinstalled MtGO again and I don't really understand what has happened. On all accounts it is a gigantic step backwards. The interface seems just worse and trying to navigate or resize windows is a huge pain and often takes multiple mouse clicks to get it to actually work. Is anyone else playing MtGO right now? I'm really interested in hearing what others think about this new version.

+21 Internets | I play, 2 accounts and a fuck ton of cards so yeah I play. Anyways its not bad def looks better on a widescreen. Paying anything but STD is pretty lame with the newer/older combos out there. 3 turn wins are just retarded. Last edited by Hatorade : 07-01-2008 at 01:16 PM. |

+21 Internets | Magic: the Gathering Decks good list of them here. Personally I love ninja rat zombie decks with some artifacts mixed in. ninjutsu(sp?) is just mean at times especially when you switch it out with a destroy nonblack creature when not blocked+an artifact that equips when creature comes into play that adds +9 dmg or whatever. Hell pure zombie decks are equally fun. You need an anti creature deck to win basically but even then unless you remove them from graveyard I can endlessly cycle them into play. +1 Internets | I love it when MtG threads surface on boards I frequent, cause it makes it so obvious that 90% of the people that ever played the game were total scrubs with theme decks (that still had a riot), instead of the zuper zeriuz people I played with. |

I still do alright in a store microcosm and I'm practiced enough to be able to spot things just off the beaten path but singles prices these days just piss me right of.

+21 Internets | Fucking shit everyone has the same damm deck over and over in std. Fucking rats that if not blocked get +2+1. Usually the rats are flying or unblockable. Going to have to bust out my spirit decks and fuck them up. |

| Its been a long time since I've played but can you pretty much start playing tournies right away? I can't remember the name of the type of tourny but can you play the game where everyone picks 1 card from each pack and passes it on.. I always loved that type of game because it seemed really fair and it wasn't all crazy combos and bullshittery. |
