Now that enough time has passed for most people to beat the single player, I thought this deserved it's own thread.

First Impressions:

It's third person. You can use the camera to look around corners. Headshots feel pretty broken, it's pretty much 1hKO when it takes what feels like 10 shots in the body to kill the guy.

There are skills in this game. You have 4 slots to equip skills, then you use them to level them up. There're stuff like CQC, Weapon specific skills, trap sense, trap setting, and various SOP skills.

SOP is the Sons of the Patriots system. Basically you tap your team mates on the back and you get linked up to everyone in the vicinity, and stuff like their position(they glow blue/red and you can see em through walls and stuffs) and their aiming is relayed. Apparently with enemy locators you can also relay enemy positions to your team mates.

Map variety is pretty good. The maps are quite big, plenty of room to maneuver, plenty of camping spots, shortcuts that make for an interesting game.

Now, I know that MGO is region locked, and almost everyone here is going to be R1. But if there're any R3 players, maybe we can get some games going!

PS. PSN is so weak compared to live.

I've been having fun, have my CQC up to Master, Blades and Scanning are both at level 2. Are you sure it's region locked? I've been playing with people who sound completely American (and the lag is atrocious), and I'm region 3.

Hah, maybe. I was just playing a few hours yesterday, grabbing people, injecting them, then choking them out. Also, if I really am playing R3 and the lag is actually that bad when my ping inside Korea is 3-4ms.. :-\
