+9 Internets | Yeah, Lego Star Wars was amazing, and those two games look like they are going to be just as good. I'm particularly pumped about Lego Batman, if only because it looks like they are using the "style" of the Batman Animated Series, and that was by far the best Batman ever. |

| Same for me. I thought the Lego games looked retarded but grabbed Star Wars one night while extremely bored. Soooo glad that I did. The game was insanely fun and I will be grabbing Batman and Indy soon as they are out. |

+11 Internets | you basically play through the movie storyline as the characters. the world is stylized like lego and there is a lot of humor as you go along. of course they add stuff to make the game longer but you get the idea.

* Jedi / Sith can use force powers and deflect laser bolts, while also interacting with Jedi / Sith only bricks. * Bounty Hunters (Boba Fett, IG-88, Boskk, etc) have grappling hooks and in some cases jetpacks. * Small characters (young Anakin, Jawa, Ewok) can go into small narrow places * Tall characters (Grievous, Jar Jar Binks) can jump much higher Honestly the most fun is usually the Jedi / Sith because the force powers are just so funny. Like you can use the Force to turn around the helmet of a Storm Trooper and it ends up wandering around trying to find its way with its arms because it can't see anymore.. or you can yank them up in the air by a foot and watch them dangle.. or fry them with Force Lightning and watch them explode into small Lego parts.. There are also "special" characters with unique abilities, like Chewbacca in the Original Trilogy (or any Wookie in the other game) who can pull the arms of enemies out of their socket, then they just run around without arms trying to get away. The list goes on, but the fun part is that once you have all those characters, you basically get access to a game within the game because the fact you can switch characters at the press of a button at any point during a level means you can explore everywhere, and find a lot of hidden content. Also, you can create your own characters and customize them, like if you want a small character that can get into small places, use a grappling hook and have Sith powers, use bricks from those kinds of characters (Sith hands for the saber, Bounty Hunter helmet and the body of an Ewok for instance) and behold Darth Boba Wicket at your disposal. Between each level, you get a cutscene replaying famous scenes from the movies but with Lego parts and without any dialogue, so a lot of the humor is from slightly changed situations or facial expressions, it really is worth a shot. Also, since the 360 version of Lego Star Wars : The Complete Saga had the hidden unlockable character of Indiana Jones, I wonder if we'll see a hidden Batman character in Lego Indiana Jones..

+9 Internets | While I have trouble grasping any reason why any sane person would get turned off by something as incredibly awesome as LEGO, I suggest you go and look for some gameplay videos of Lego Star Wars on gaming websites to get yourself a good idea of the feel of it. That said, the only time in game where you'll be actually building stuff is when you find a bunch of small parts shuffling around on the screen in various places, and you just have to press a button and hold it while your character automatically builds it up to use as a ladder / door / elevator / weapon of ultimate planetary doom, so yeah it's just a fun gimmick in the game to remind us all of the good LEGO memories, kinda like when you are fighting Darth Maul and he throws background parts at you, which somehow include the old school LEGO bicycles. But if you just take out the word LEGO and change the graphics a bit, it would still remain a very solid game with solid gameplay, simple yet good humor, and with good replayability and co-op mode. |

+4 Internets | +1 Fan for Lego Star Wars. Truly fun games, that are worth checking out if you arent too stuck up about your gaming. Tried the demo for indiana jones, and even with the wank PC controls it was fun. Looking forward to both its release and that of the Batman game. |
