Resale value on Xbox..

After searching completed auctions on ebay it seems that all the fubar Xbox 360s out there is really affecting what these sell for. $150 for premium edition consoles in good shape? Is it like that no matter how you try to sell one? Wish I had been paying attention when I bought it.. Knew I was gonna sell it.. Am I missing something or should I just eat the $200 loss?

Actually I just realized I have the go pro version. Does that change anything? probably not?

Doesn't really matter which...the failure rate on 360s is so high people buying them used are taking a large risk, and their resale value reflects that.

Even buying them new isn't guaranteed to be a medium to long term guarantee to be able to play nowadays. My dad got himself a X360 for his birthday brand new and it RRoD'd after 3 days.

Try to find a friend, co-worker, family member that might want a chance to buy it first. Failing that, do Ebay and do some slight price undercutting or toss in some games/controllers with it.

Don't ever, for any reason, do the pawn shop thing. They will lube your ass going in the door to make you prepared.

I'm assuming this is about cash, not just "getting rid of it". Shoot me a PM, I might be interested.
