[PC] Mass Effect

Has anyone heard how much the PC version will be different from the 360? I know they have a new HUD system but not sure if there is any new content.

The game is due out at the end of the month.

Considering the PC version is released so much later, I expect the PC version will also contain the downloadable content of the 360 version, meaning one more "big" side-mission (takes about an hour to complete but it's really quite interesting, and introduces a race of aliens seen only in the novels so far). Other than that, I doubt we'll see many changes.

If it runs any better than the 360 version, it'll be one hell of a game. The technical flaws were such a burden on ME =/ Still awesome tho. Also, I heard they were revamping the retarded inventory screen for the pc version.

Inventory screen was beyond horrendous. I loved this game, but I would completely ignore the inventory because it was such an abortion. I'm sure there's whole aspects of items and upgrades I didn't see because I avoided changing anything.

UI will be revamped, and yes it does include the 360 DLC

Sounds good. I never bought it for my 360 so I'll hold out for the PC version.

I pre-ordered this at Gamestop a week or two ago for the $10 discount they're having, the guy taking the pre-order said he never heard of the deal and to bring "proof" or be charged the full $50. I don't know why I still get surprised everytime something stupid like that occurs at Gamestop.

I played and beat this on XBOX, I'll try it out again and play an evil female or something on PC.

I didn't even know downloadable content was available, I don't read consoles news sites and I haven't had the disc in my machine since I beat it in December.

Chances are he didn't know about it because the site is actually run by a completely separate vendor. I had forgotten about this when I walked in this afternoon to pre-order before the discount was no longer available. I guess my money is going elsewhere.

I saw the offer in every Game Crazy I went to recently and some other stores that escape me off the top of my head. I'd attribute it to the Gamestop uselessness and spend money elsewhere.

Sweet still debating if im going to give these bastards my money. Hahah ive heard that even when it off d2d people have had to uninstall d-tools to get it to function.

Looking forward to getting it. Finally cracked and bought a 360 today and realized now that ME is on PC too, that the majority of their titles I wanted I could've already been playing (essentially own it for lost odyssey at this point). Unless the PC version sucks ass, it'll be my choice.
