Like Chris said they better fix the shitty match making from the first one. I'm very confident they will since they admitted to tacking on multiplayer near the end of development on the first one, and they had to deal with huge backlash when they took the ability to group with friends in ranked matches away.

Game looks fucking awesome.

Pure win.

GoW is probably still the best game on the 360, definitely a must-buy. Which reminds me, I have to finish the campaign on the highest difficulty at some point, I think I only made it half way through

I hope they'll go with 4 player co-op this time.

having a 360 without GoW is basically a wasted console.

That level looks cool and all but...

Let me know, ya'll, if it is truly cool, or if it is one of those typical FPS levels on rails in which you shoot the crap out of everything and think it's awesome until you later discover that you could have hid in a corner and not fired a single bullet the entire time and still beat the level. Because at first glance, that is exactly what it appears to be.

I'm not trying to dis on GoW or anything, just more of a preemptive strike on those of you (and I know you're out there) who would suck Gow's asshole without even wiping first and (ironically) ask for seconds.

Well, i dont think you can do that becuase it shows the monsters jumping on your vehicle. Unless they are stupidly retarded and just jump up on there and not do anything to you, then yeah, you got problems.

I'm sure there are targets that are there for no other reason than background or staged-events (IE, the million man Locust march).

That aside, if it's anything like Gears of War rail sections, you won't be able to continue unless certain targets are dead (ie, the raiders flying around, etc). The Brumak has certain destructible parts on it that need to be destroyed.

The new weapons look kinda nifty. Using a dude as a human shield = money. It looked like the chainsaw battle was just a button mashing contest. Regardless, I hope it's not in multiplayer :[

Awesome video, and btw blank, that chainsaw duel i can ALMOST guarantee will be in multiplayer, people complained specifically about it. I mean two people come at each other w/chainsaws and one just gets it off.. can be annoying. I mean yeah, now its another button mash along with the execution revive/warzone bleedout, but it doesnt seem too bad.

Definitely isn't a level where you can sit back, at one point it asks you to protect your derrick or someone else's from the Brumak, i'm guessing if you don't destroy parts of it in a bit of time you'll lose from that standpoint. Can't wait for the game, looks great so far, just needs some multiplayer details and co-op info.

RE chainsaw duels in multiplayer: that just seems like a cheesy way to handle it (button mashing). Not to mention I never liked getting stuck into insanely long animation sequences where you're partially invincible for no good reason :[

I just hope they keep the short/quick chainsaw kill we saw in that vid.

Yeah, it's that good. I have it for 360 and PC. Both are really good. You choose.
Actually, I just picked up GoW today for the PC. I've heard it's name tossed around here and there but for some reason it completely fell off my game radar until now.
