It's a fun mod. I ran into a new enemy though, Horned Demons, they look like Doom 3's Hell Knights with a big horn sticking out of the top. Ripped my poor sorc a new one.

I kinda wish there was online play though cuz I can see the crafting being a lot of fun, yet limited to your time farming.

I just can't see the point of playing such a huge change to the game's mechanics but not storyline in a strictly Single Player environment.

The only reason the game could be played offline was for the story.

Is there some kind of mock Bnet server running this mod that is...somewhat legit (not totally hacked)?

I hosted a game with Ronne and me in it for a while, worked ok. My brother may play some too. Having a way to search for games or something would be nice though.

What class and spec is everyone playing? So far my trapper has been pretty underwhelming, although it's only level 20. In the official d2 I remember my traps atleast scratching mobs by that level but so far I've been doing more damage with the overpowered gemwords and 0points invested in melee skills.

Check out the builds guide and the forums for advice Ath. Theres an extensive thread discussing builds, which is well worth a read. Be careful not to make assumptions about skills based on the vanilla game - pretty much everything has changed.

, looks alot like 1.08/9 where melee had a use other than finding xp shrines and cb'ing baal down to 10% then leaving so level 98's could get their xp!

Looks like removing the images from my post removed them from the host. I didn't figure on that, but it is smart for keeping the database clean. I just didn't want to fag the thread up with double posts on those images. I should have spoilered them instead to serve that purpose.
Le sigh. Sorry Flight. I could be seeing things, but it looks like the trouble images aren't displaying...again.

1) Host them somewhere other than imageshack
2) attach them directly to your posts, which hosts them here.

On the topic of the mod itself, I finally managed to locate my CDs and install the game. I'm going to start with the mod soon. I mentioned it to my brother, and, given his current disinterest in WoW, he thought it sounded great.

Seems decent so far, if not a bit confusing with the amount of strange shit that drops. Souls, hearts, scalps, coupons, decipherers, so much shit to learn about now.

Apparently putting a chipped diamond into a paladin shield makes a "holy" shield? It looked good in the stat window, but what do the 100% CTC "xxx" spell mean? The holy shield said 100% CTC thunder strike or something, but I don't think it ever did.

Zeal and sacrifice pretty much just rape face currently though, especially with some unique short sword I found with 20% leech.

deffinitely an amusing mod, i think i died several times zoning into one of the act 3 sewers and getting instagibbed by 14 different unique hidden/champion vampire caster/horned demon/stygian rapist combinations on my sorc.

as to the random shit that drops, wtf are you supposed to do with it? all that wiki does is confuse the hell outa me, need that in lamens terms
