My xbox breaking was just a front to open up discussion. It's a forum. I've posted only five threads this calendar year (search link might not work - http://www.fohguild.org/forums/searc...earchid=719464 ): http://www.fohguild.org/forums/other...-360-dead.html http://www.fohguild.org/forums/other...sales-npd.html http://www.fohguild.org/forums/other...f-zero-gx.html http://www.fohguild.org/forums/other...sales-npd.html http://www.fohguild.org/forums/other...march-9th.html 2 sales threads, an alert to a news item (smash delayed), an f-zero gx topic, and this one, an excuse to talk about the 360's hardware.

| Pride Never Die | I haven't bought a 360 because of the failure rate on them. I guess that makes me evil. I do have a PS3/Wii and have more games to play than I can shake a stick at.

| Still on my first gen 360 with no HDMI port, but the optical drive is gonna bite it soon I'm afraid. The bay doesn't always open and I have to pry it open with a pen, and I'm getting ever more frequent disc read errors. I'm tempted to just RROD it while it still runs and see if they'll send me a model with an HDMI port. I need a ps3 anyway for Bluray, but I have kind of a massive pile of 360 games I don't want to give up. |

| Registered User | I don't stalk you, no worries, was just an impression - it reminded back when you were talking about being banned on neogaf and whatnot, /shrug. Xbox360 hardware blows, I think everyone can concede that point. What I'd be interested in is how successful their upgrades are - the falcon and the other upgrades they had in store (I'll have to research this later, it was from a month ago or so on kotaku that I read it). |

I'm not so much bitter about these things happening to me, but I love talking about things I have experience with. NeoGAF is a pretty ban-happy forum, and being the most prominent and influential gaming forum on the net makes it a good topic to talk about here at FoH Other Games. Same with the 360 hardware. I just chose to open topics after I had a reason to talk about them. ------- The 360 situation should improve in the next 2 years. The $1 billion invested by MS into the "soft recall" should be proof of this. They want the problem to be fixed for good after your send them a box, so you don't have to keep sending them in.

Anyways, just wait it out man - it sucks, of course, but it's not like you'll be missing the hobby since there's other platforms.

+7 Internets | I bought a used 360 (had little choice after looking around for a new one) for lost odyssey and after i was done i sold it back on craigslist as fast as I could. I'm not a fan of a majority of 360 games and its' failure rate just scares me. I'm not buying a ps3 either until I find games I actually like. I'm having shittuns of fun playing with my emulator and some old games I used to own. Last edited by Kaio : 04-04-2008 at 02:49 AM. |

| Or dont care. I never bought a ps2 and i certainly could afford it. I have ps3 and a 360 now. I just never felt the need to own one back then. I got my sports gaming fix from the xbox. |

Is it just a "picking your favorite" kind of thing? Last edited by Soygen : 04-04-2008 at 06:49 AM.
