Absolutely amazingx10, but unfortunately most of that detail will be lost in motion.

Still might have to buy a PS3 just for this game though. The GT series is probably my #1 fav console title out there. Forza for some reason just didnt do it for me, even though its like exactly the same game.

The big news this time is that Sony is using their F1 license to GT this iteration, and F2007 is gonna be included in GT5:P:

This site has more screenshots. I'd pick this up if I can find it for $30 or less, but honestly $40 is pushing it.

I imported GT5P awhile ago and those SS's are accurate.

I wish I knew enough about cars to enjoy these games. I could barely manage racing with the retard arrows enabled with Forza 2.

I never understood them till I sat down and tried Initial D. Since then I've loved racing games, and GT is a damn good franchise.

Not a lot to say, GT5P is obviously not much more than a paid Demo. The game looks amazing(better than Forza2 imo), and controls excellently now that theres support for G25 and higher-end wheels.

The biggest upgrade imho is the new cockpit view, which looks awesome and will improve your handling if your more used to driving a real car than a virtual one(though there's still sadly no advantage over the "camera on the hood" viewpoint in that you can see around corners if your used to it)

Yeah, thats been the biggest complaint thus far about the game. But on the bright side, PD did add a bunch of new content for the US/EU versions of the game. Here's the features - IGN: Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Features Announced
