how the hell is GH3 still selling for the wii? I havent seen any of those in any stores where i live for months now.

I was convinced it was discontinued, because we certainly dont have a huge number of wii owners here.

I think MS' market is absolutely dried up. They don't have a next gen format and they don't have a casual market like the Wii. They're in a tough spot, but they dug their own graves. They rushed out a shitty Xbox that wasn't truly next gen and now they're paying for it.

360 is still selling a shitload of games. It's got a bigger base of owners, and is still selling a good number of systems. PS3 barely edged it out...but over time the gap will definitely widen.

I think the PS3 is far better hardware, but honestly I've had far more fun playing my 360. I want to buy PS3 games. I really want to buy PS3 games. But aside from the decent rentals every few months, there still isn't anything that I'd consider a must play or must have. Contrary, I had more fun playing GoW/Halo 3/Bioshock/Mass Effect/Lost Odyssey then I have playing anything else in years.

Also, 360 has both been on the market for a year or so longer, as well as was continually beating the PS3 in sales for awhile. Would the sudden boost in hardware sales for PS3 over 360 be because way more people have 360's than PS3's, or because Blu-ray was recently the format winner? I bought my PS3 in February with my tax return, and I'd be willing to bet a lot of people were thinking and have done the same.

/shrug, last year was 360's year, this year will be PS3's.

for what it's worth. Microsoft has stated that there are supply constraints for the last 2 months, and they should have 360 supply to sufficient levels again by april.

A good part of the january and february PS3 sells were to blu-ray users and not really gamers, just look at the sold games number.
