| WII: Best 2 player games I'm done with my deployment in a month or so and the little lady and I are going to get a WII. She's not a gamer per se, but she did enjoy playing through half life 2 on easy, xmen for ps2, and some casual everquestII. What are the best 2 player games out for the WII? The sports one is a definate, but I'm not really sure what else is out there. Thanks.

+8 Internets | In four more days, Super Smash Brothers Melee. Super Mario Galaxy also has minor 2 player elements (the 2nd player can shoot/pick up star bits for you and also help you jump, though I've found most people just do that to fuck with you at a key moment).

| Mario Strikers > Fifa. Smash, of course. Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for a shooter. VC games (Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Country) Trauma Center: New Blood has 2-player coop. My gf likes to use the 2nd controller when I play Galaxy. I don't like doing the single player thing when shes around, but lately she's actually requested I play it.

| My friend has Wario Ware:Smooth Moves for his Wii and one night after some beers we played it--and I'll be damned if it wasn't some of the most fun I've ever had on a console. They use the wiimote really creatively in that game, forcing you to hold/maneuver it in many different ways to win, and its basically head-to-head. If you guys haven't played it, rent it, get some friends, and try it out. Its a good time.

+8 Internets | ok, after now playing Smash Brothers for over 20 hours, I can't recommend it strongly enough. There's tons to do as two players, including two player only challenges, the Subspace Emmesary storyline can be done with two players (though it makes it a bit harder, and you have to keep the second player on the screen or they may die), and of course there's 2vs2 online battles. All in all, this game rocks, hard.
