I love God of War for the awesome gameplay, but how the hell can anyone actually like (the character of) Kratos.

He's a massive asshole, and not even in a likable way. "Oops, I just accidentally killed the only person whose even been nice to me (aka, Athena). Oh well, I'll just go against her dying wishes and wipe out her siblings." And the, "Oh look, this soldier is hurt and is begging for help. Let me drag the poor guy around and then PUT HIM INTO A MEAT GRINDER."

At this point, I can't even root for any of the characters anymore. They killed off the only likable one, and now I just end up hoping all three sides wipe each other out.

Cause he is a badass and don't need no body cept his ho's for some quick red orb lovin. Besides the story is he is a man that asked for help then is betrayed by the gods...then they keep fucking with him.

Look, I'm all for laying waste of Olympus. Zeus is a giant douchebag. But isn't it kind of Krato's fault? I mean, Zeus gives him Godhood and instead of being thankful, he just marches around and destroys the other God's cities. When the Gods ask him to stop, he tells them to fuck off. Can you REALLY blame Olympus for deciding "Fuck it, Kratos is an ass. He's just as bad as Ares. Lets get rid of him."

Plus, there's being an asshole to get revenge. But its another thing to be such a MASSIVE asshole that you feel the need to throw random people in fucking MEATGRINDERS.

The gods didn't take away his pain as they promised if he got rid of Ares instead they said I know lets make him live forever so he can be in his own personal hell....so yeah the man holds a grudge.

GoW2 made me buy a PS3 - I thought if they could make a game look and play that good on the PS2 I can only imagine what GoW3 would be like on the PS3... I can't wait.

Sony's really, really picking it up. My allegiance (for the moment -- likely a fleeting moment) is to MS, but I'm honestly more excited about MGS4, Little Big Planet, FFXIII, and GOW 3 than just about anything coming out for the 360.

I've bitten my tongue regarding all the "PS3 is dead" utterances over the past year. Really now, does anyone still think this system is dead? Because I sure a hell don't. I'll certainly pick one up this fall, assuming I'm in a situation more conducive to gaming.

You know, I always wanted to try out GoW 1 and 2, I hear so many good things. And my girlfriend got me a PS3 for valentine's day, so I won! Except she got me the 40 gig one, and I don't want to say anything and be an asshole, so I lose. Some would say, epic fail. I still haven't told her that she can't play her old Kingdom hearts and shit on there. That should be fun.

Funny thing is, she knew it didn't have BC but some reviewers on Amazon, more than one, stated that it does have BC with a firmware update, so she thinks it does now.
