Yeah, you can. So if you had a laptop next to you while playing (which I do most of the time) you can just plug into that. The only bad thing about the built-in battery is the 6 fucking inch cable or whatever they give you with the controller. The one time that it did run out of batteries I ended up playing Assassin's Creed about a foot away from the tv.

This sound like a sweet deal for us, but also a sweet deal for Konami. Konami's accountants were probably sweating heavily while checking MGS4's ever-growing budget and the PS3's user base, but with this bundle deal (assuming it was well negotiated) they can relax a little.

At least the only problem my PS2 games seem to have is audio playback during FMVs and nothing that ruins gameplay.
Ah thanks, I checked all the games I have and there weren't any problems. Hell I checked Lunar and there isn't any problems

There are also those mini USB cables that are just power plugs that go straight into a wall. Pretty much any way of plugging a mini-USB end into the controller and the other end into something that has power will charge the PS3 controllers.

If you bought you PS3 from Best Buy with a warranty, you can return your PS3 as a defective unit (locks up, networking crashes, whatever it may be doing) for store credit for the price you paid ($600 at launch), which will afford you enough money to buy the new bundle + buy a new warranty. Full of win.

Sounds plausible. Regardless MGS 4 can't come out quickly enough.

Older games though as he's been in jail and its been sitting there since last May. I couldnt pass it up when his old lady called me today wanting to sell it. lol

You should have just offered to fuck her for it, since her man's in jail she isn't getting any action.

I'm probably going to be getting that PSP because it's the only system I don't right now.

You can use any usb cable as well. I went and bought 15 foot cables for our controllers. Use my PS3 controller on my PS1 emulator on my laptop too. $$
