Bionic Commando: Rearmed is fantastic and everyone needs to buy it RIGHT NOW! It's on PSN, XBLA and PC via Direct2Drive so whatever your platform of choice is, you have a way to experience it.

Played it for about 3 hours last night and loved every minute of it. Pretty cool developer interview Bionic Commando Producer Ben Judd Interview that if you have any interest in game development you should read. Good stuff!

Couldn't agree more w/the above, got it yesterday.. totally love it. Played a LONG long session and went through the entire game w/a friend co-op. Going to replay it again on a harder difficulty (was on medium at the time). It took me a little bit to get used to the hooking, and I'm not expert yet, but I've done a lot of really cool moves, and a bunch of the simulation rooms. Lot of fun, highly recommend it. Not to mention the actual dialogue that's updated is hilarious.

Yeah hooking seems harder to get used to than classic bionic commando - i need to spend more time in the practice rooms.

As a huge fan of the NES game, this is a wonderful remake. However, it's hard.

The controls are 90% there from the NES, but the last 10% are throwing me off. I'm just too used to the old game to want to change.

This is harder than the original. At first I thought I'm getting older and my motor skills are failing me. Then I loaded up the ROM on my PC of the original and totally owned it.

This is the best 800 pts I've spent on Xbox Live.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting horrendous performance on my computer. I'm talking single-digit FPS even AFTER I change the resolution to a measly 1024x768. I don't know what's going on.

Wouldn't know about that Jabber, i have the XBLA version ;\. It is definitely harder than the original NES.. some of the fuckin simulation challenge rooms are extremely difficult.

Anyone beat this shit on super hard? I finished all the challenges but I am getting fucked raped on this difficulty. Only boss I can reliably get to is the one in area 5 but it always seems to be on my last life with no hp.

Plus I am trying to get the hacking achievement (only other 1 I am missing) and occasionally fuck up the hacking since the controls aren't inverted. A hearty Fuck You to all the people out there who for whatever godawful reason made non-inverted controls the norm. The extra enemies that spawn pretty much ruin any attempt.

I really loved this game though. Between this, braid, crastle crashers, and the pixeljunk ps3 games, I haven't bought a full priced game in a long time. DLC is probably the biggest perk of the current generation.
