Pretty excited for this, although I'm a bit disappointed that Undead didn't make it into the game.

The tentative release date is 06.18.09 according to the 'games in development' link on the Cyanide Website. It also has an identical date listed on a couple websites for French retailers, granted I haven't been able to find anywhere taking pre-orders in the US. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Edit: "The current plans (subject to change) will be to add Undead and Dark Elves after the game's release." (source)

Those following the game are probably aware, but for everyone else the site is currently taking pre-orders for digital downloads. The digital release date is June 26th (pre-orders get to download a few days prior to beat the rush). The physical copy release for the US is estimated to be September.

If you like Bloodbowl, I think it's worth it. Bought it and enjoying it, the internet interface thingie is pretty terrible, but other than that the game is pretty nice, while it's missing some good teams(undeads mostly) it has a pretty large choice of races. It's nothing very innovative, I mean there's a real time game thingie but I haven't even tried it once, I just play the normal turn by turn system and have fun with it, even though I suck. I don't regret buying it at least, will last me for a while, playing on and off.

IIRC, the undead as well as a couple other teams will be downloadable later on.

Yeah that's what they said, Dark Elves and Undead downloadable sometimes after release, was just saying. There's plenty of different teams anyway, bashing teams with orcs/chaos/dwarves, running teams with skavens/lizards, passing teams with wood elves and humans and the have fun destroying your opponent team but not winning very often team with goblins.

Anyone else here play and whats your coach name, maybe we can get a tourney goin if theres some interrest in it

Think the game has been released everywhere officially, just that if you want box versions you'll have to wait in almost every country(can buy them in France though for whatever reason). As for servers no idea, the game doesn't have much in terms of lag anyway, it's turn by turn it's not like lagging would make any difference ^^.
