So the Ancient Ruins sucks. Fuck splitting up the party. And fuck things being able to steal from you yet you not being able to reclaim your items after you kill them. Anyone know how I recover lost items from the monkey guys?

Edit: nevermind, think I'm just going to reload my save from before I was stolen from and run from everything. I want to be finished with this place ASAP.

Yeah, you have to obtain a certain treasure, I forget the name of it offhand, it's some "valuable" like Wonky Talisman or some shit - then let them steal that (they will right away). Then you find their 'queen' - who is at the bottom of the temple after the interim save point, defeat her and you get all your items back.

Edit: It's also the same method used in the ice canyon if you're familiar with that shit. If you think the ruins are bad.. wait for temple of enlightenment

on the 2nd part of the temple, on the bottom floor, you can fight the monkey queen even without that talismen thingy to get your item backs. The thing is, they'll continue to steal from you anyway. I forget what the reward is for doing the talismen/thingy side quest, but they'll also stop stealing from you.

Man i can almost easily say this is one my my favorite rpgs in the past couple years.

Im in the temple of enlightenment at the moment, loling at hellish kelolens.. theyre so weak when your characters can absorb all attacks and nullify any elemental damage.

fucking anoying ass area though, good lord.

Correct.


And yeah, once you can nullify elements/ignore status effects and absorb randomly any other attack/magic attack, you're basically on cruise control God-mode.

Heh yeah.

This is odd.. The boss in the temple of enlightenment didnt drop macks weapon, and i couldnt see anything around where the boss fight was.. I got a backyard book and something else but no phoenix discus.. any idea how i can get this?.. I already ran out of the place and really dont want to go all the way back to the top lol :\

Memory might be off, but I thought that was one of the hidden treasures right at the boss area. No idea where you get the clue though.

Having some trouble at the end of the cave, I don't have enough damage to keep the servants down while mowing her down. Those suckers got over 1k hps.
