Renegade came out a long time ago. Was playable but had some shittly levels, and lots of bugs. One level I couldnt beat, and ended up deleting the game from harddrive. Had to rescue some prisoners and protect them. Once you fired the first shot they would start running down the road, and would get picked off by snipers, which were all over the place, along with various other bad guys you had to kill. If 1 prisoner died (out of like 7) you failed the level.

I liked Renegade a lot.

But yeah, a squad based FPS? Meh. Hopefully it'll be similar to Star Wars: Republic Commando.

Nothing like waiting until someone built up enough points to buy a vehicle, then stealing it before they got in.

Renegade was pretty fun. Much moreso multiplayer than single player but still enjoyable. If this improves on that concept then sign me up.

Man I played so much Renegade back in the day I still install it about once a year to play some demo MP. The game had alot of promise for sure. Too bad too many bugs and piss poor single player screwed it over.
