I could never get into these games beyond the CGI movies. It looked so awesome and then played so badly. Not my bag.

Who developed Mechwarrior 2? It was, shit, about 15 years ago when Pentium computers were first breaking the market. That game was nothing but awesome.

I never was a big "Huge robot with guns" fan, but Mechwarrior 2 was insanely badass. I used to hawk computers at Sears back in the day, and we all used to come in on our days off to play that game.

That was Activision. They did a great job but FASA rolled their own engine and everything else starting with MW3, which was just years ahead of its time and was even better looking/playing than the 'Tesla' system they had running in the Battletech Centers.
