I've never been a fan of IGN as a source of reviews, but a score that low is enough to give me pause. I absolutely loved the original Pirates but couldn't really get into the new version. This did look interesting though.

I was a big fan of the recent Pirates! game from last year or the year before. I'm not as interested in a Civil War setting as I am in an age-of-pirates setting, but whatever. I'll give this game a try.

Yeah the SM pirates was great fun at the start...later is was near impossible.
