I am on the last boss and even with the hints, I am
getting owned. I am figuring out that massive damage at once stuns him. Just not getting him down fast enough in the minute thirty.

I feel the last bit of the story was rushed. I felt like I was little past the middle of the game and then next thing I know, I am on the last boss.

No worries. This and inFamous both are going to be fun to play through multiple times.

I did it with the armor on, and large blade/scythe thing as my arm weapon. Run and use you air dash and grab and consume the soldiers to get your critical mass on. Then use the direct damage devastator (not recalling the name atm) and run away from him since he usually does his devastator afterward.

Then just get in his face and melee him into a stun, beat his ass, rinse, repeat. By the time the clock appears he should have maybe a quarter life left, or less. I killed him with 30 to 50secs left on the clock.

I have played this game to maybe 50% and I have some questions (I am new to consoles and not that good with the controller since I was used to mouse+Keyb, so don't laugh at me pls, at least not in public ).
Playing medium diff btw:

1. I am at a point where I have choppers, tanks and super hunters on me all the time and they kick me from one end to the other end of the island like there is no tomorrow. When I want to hop into a tank, I get shot. I basically run around, hijack choppers, kill one other chopper and go down with mine. Then often run away, get health and come back. But more often then not, getting health alarms the whole world, strike team coming in and it feels like everyone and his mother is after me.
How did you do the battles when things started to get heavy? Is there any other viable tactic than hit & run?

2. Is there a point of no return and when, what is the name of the mission? Because I want to grind all the abilities and sometimes feel like going on with the missions.

3. There is one kill mission with a chopper, I think the name is "fire from the sky", you get it in the southernmost part of the map, near the military base. It is really easy, but I never get enough kills for gold (I get like half the kills). Any hints?

I like this game a lot, but I feel super stressed when playing it. This is for sure nothing to relax. Sometimes I get confused, because I have to press so many buttons. I basically have sprint pressed 24/7, targetting, too and then the buttons for the combos . When I play too long, I shoot military when I really wanted to stealth kill them and do stupid stuff like that.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Get health quietly by doing stealth consumes, if you've received that ability yet. If not, find someone in a quiet alleyway. Also, if you're disguised as a soldier you don't have to fight to get into a tank, as long as you don't have aggro. Other than that, the easiest way to clear out large groups of people and vehicles is a devastator attack. Specifically the tentacle one. One of those will blow up every tank, chopper and person it touches. Also, hitting a helicopter with a car or 2 will take it down easy enough.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Once you start getting main storyline quests that start at payphones, you're getting close. 3rd payphone is no return, I think. After you do a quest to blow up every helicopter leaving town, you'll have one more opportunity to freeroam.

For the most part, you can ignore the red-marked targets during this mission. You get points for killing any infected, and since you're in a heavily infected zone, everyone there is. Find large crowds of people down the street that you can clear out with 1 missile. Focus on the tentacles too. They give 10 points per kill, I believe.

1. Musclemass+charged cannonball will kill choppers in one shot on medium. In fact I don't think you even have to charge the cannonball up all the way. This lets you wipe out strike teams really fast, and when the choppers die they drop orbs that refill your health. On medium once I started cannonballing strike teams like that, they drop enough health that I could mess around near hives as much as I wanted. If you have access to blade air slice, get it, it will one shot tanks. If you have more than one hunter running around, abuse hunter dirtnap to keep things manageable.

2. The closest thing to a point of no return is the mission "Two Tickets," because after you finish it, there is no break between it and the final mission, so have your upgrades purchased before then. However, after you finish the final mission it lets you go back to the city and mess around, do side missions, etc. I will note that you should do military consume events earlier rather than later, because later on the military bases have more security, and it makes the "easy" infiltration events more annoying than they should be.

3. Ignore the marked targets and just spray dumbfire missiles into crowds. Just strafe over the water shooting into the street and such and go back and forth. Here's a video that I used to get gold on it.

I don't really hold sprint down during fights at all - make sure you get all the movement upgrades, namely the air dash ones. Air dash often.

Thank you very much for your help, guys. Especially the canonball is a great help with the choppers.

My biggest problem at the moment are the hard military consume events. Dang, getting 5 consumes in such a short timeframe is hard and infiltrating bases is no easy job either. Most of the time I get a military alarm no matter what, try to destroy the detectors without killing the officer and run and loose the alarm. But most of the time I end up failing because of time restraints.
The melee military guys that are also detectors are very lame, because they detect you in seconds.
Any other tactics?

Other than that I love the game.

One point though:
I think that the controls are not very intuitive. Sometimes you shoot with trigger, sometimes you do it with X... and picking up a weapon is sometimes difficult when you want it and happens too often on random when you don't want it.
One example, I had a military consume event and was on time for the 5th consume. I changed to whipfist because that makes for easy and fast consuming, hit B to grab the poor sob and grab something that was nearly invisble because I stood very close. I did not notice that, was wondering why nothing happened and hit B again. Now I threw the box or whatever that was on the guy and killed him
Stuff like that happens far too often

Once the bases in infiltration missions start having the floating detectors, forget trying to stealth your way in, it takes way too long. Just run in, look around for the commander, grab him normally and consume. Forget stealth. Then run away, find an alley to ditch the alert, then run back as the commander and get inside.

You have to retry those military consume events until you get one that is actually doable, running across the whole city in 3 minutes isn't. Even worse, if you could choose the order of targets, you could make it, but when they make you go half city for one, then half a city back, I was starting to nerdrage.

The infiltration events are easy, just learn to loose alarm quickly, then you can just fly to the entrance and get right in.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
My biggest headache was the mission where you have to destroy the blood gas factory, the amount of shit that gets thrown at you in case you trigger alarm is ridiculous. Oh well, 3 stolen tanks and 2 helis later, the base was in ruins

Wow, I am so glad that you are saying this.... I actually thought I was doing something very wrong. There was this one event when I did not even get no 4, let alone guy no 5

And I did not know that you can stealth hijack tanks when you are a soldier, that was a very useful hint.

Just finsihed this game, was pretty fun but got really tedious at the bosses and some of the bases since they put cheat codes in.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
What'd you guys do at the mission where you had to destroy all the gas producing things in the base? I use helicopters and it felt really cheesy, but anytime I tried getting in melee range of them the instant respawning soldiers/super soldiers/tanks/apcs/helicopters/turrets would spam my ass.

Greene was probably the most tedious one until I tried using a tank on her. Even that was kind of lame though.

Uh, you can choose the order of the 5 target consumes dude. Just open up your map and they're all there. The mini-map just points to the "closest" one to you.

Just hit and run. Would fly up above a generator, come down on it hard, then sprint behind a building and disguise. As long as you can get out of LoS before a strike team shows up, it's easy enough.

I gotta say, I didn't use tanks and copters very much at all. I liked blowing things up far more than hijacking them.

Uh .. it is. I think the only event I failed sometimes were the infiltrations later. Detection was way too good to do it sneaky, so I rushed the commander, hid and came back which didnt work sometimes when I didnt find a place to hide nearby.
Gotta train your movement, most important thing is to use the airdash -> glide -> airdash2 -> glide combination (imo) which speeds things up alot, but I also went for the movement upgrades first.

The bosses are all rather easy and dont take long, you just have to figure out what to do:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Greene-Monster is basicly moving out of LoS and consuming stuff until your are full, then get out your SHIELD (to block the projectiles she will shoot at you) and sprint straight towards her, use Graveyard (if you have air graveyard, use that as its less likely to be interrupted by knockbacks). This puts her straight into vulnerability.. grab blade and hack her down.. its around 1/3 dmg every time, so you need to do that only 3 times and fight over.

Final Boss involves alot of kiting.. simply keep running away and consuming soldiers (whip is your friend), whenever you find a rocketlauncher lock the boss and fire while running. When you are at maximum critical mass go in for air devastator.. that single target nuke you have. After you hit him kite again and consume soldiers. If you hit him enough with the rockets he might go vulnerable and you can grab him and bash his brains out. Didnt even try cannonballs and similar stuff because he was way too easy.

Killing stuff like hives or that "gas producing things" is easily done with helicopter. Get a strike team in, hijack the helicopter, shoot the other helis down and then blast everything away from above. To evade.. simply fly straight up and use homing on the other helis. If you run out of missiles hijack another one (exit, select whip, target and hit "e") as at this point they are everywhere in the sky and once you get up there with the first you can jump from copter to copter.
