Looks like the Rush songs are masters... FINALLY. I can barely stand the Rush cover versions. They need to let those that DLed the cover version get a free upgrade to the Masters.

I just got around to getting Snow from the RHCP and my god, this is the second song that is going to stay unbeaten on expert, along with Thrasher. Its like a whole song of notes that should be HO/PO's, but is instead all notes you have to strum.

That is AWESOME news.. bout time rockband gets some good DLC, Ive been waiting for some In Flames or Killswitch Engage.. Senses fail and Underoath and delicious Trivium is pretty cool too.

Maybe this has something to do with a lack of DLC announcement this week!

Just a guess... but...

a 12 song The Who album is coming out for download on Tuesday, announced last week when chili pepper songs were announced...

this... could answer for a lack of new announced songs for tuesday.

Yes im well aware of this now, I have 0 interest in the who, and theres no announce date in the title of the thread hence me not knowing until i looked it up after i posted.

regardless, game still needs singles/packs for those who do not want the who like myself =p

Yeah, Snow is rough. Some may disagree, but I think it's now the hardest expert guitar song. I've beaten Thrasher, after some practice, and I suspect I'll get through Snow eventually, but it will take some work. Honestly the hardest part is just that my left hand gets sore/cramps up after, oh, about the first 7% or so.

Thrasher has star power to make it (slightly) easier. Basically, get two early star power (easy) use it during the first solo, get two more star power (hard) and use it during the second solo, and you win. Snow has nothing like that. It's tough from the very first note.

I'm buying it tomorrow with the Who pack, so I'll shut my mouth if I fail miserably but even though it looks ridiculously fun, I don't think comparing it to Thrasher makes much sense. More like Joker and the Thief but with alt strumming. I suppose if you suck at alt strumming that makes it pretty tough, though.

It's picked on a guitar, with only a hammer on pull off at the end of each phrase. I haven't played it in the game but I imagine it would be easier than playing it on the guitar since it's chords rather than just single note fretting. I can play it but it was a difficult song to learn for sure I personally play it without alternate picking though most guitar players probably alternate pick it.
