+8 Internets | suppose to get it Monday. Will post some thoughts then. It's worth mentioning I'm not a GIANT fighting nerd, so what's acceptable for me is probably horrible for the "pro" or whatever.

+6 Internets | $150 is pretty much baseline for a stick with real arcade parts. There are a few that come in under that, but not many. I've seen people pay close to $300 for some custom jobs, but we're talking really high-end work. For example (First two by TMO, second two by Big Pockets, last one by Byrdo): |

| Flaccid Steel | You can probably get a PS2 custom stick for a bit cheaper and get a 10 dollar adapter for the PS3. The xbox 360 has an adapter but its expensive because it first and foremost an adapter to use keyboard and mouse on the x360 (xfps).

In that thread it said the xfps is lagless but I also searched the site via google and some people say it lags. Not sure if it lags or not. I can get my hands on one and try it out.

+12 Internets | Could just be people are idiots. I remember people bitching about how turbo felt "off" in the capcom collection, to the point no one would use it. And of course people later realized nothing was wrong with it at all when sirlin called the retards on it. |

| Flaccid Steel | My friends xfps PRO is still at my house. I used it with my PS2 stick and works totally fine. I'm fairly noob so don't take my word for it. Maybe I can post a video later. EDIT: Was playing the anniversary SF on xbox. Tried both games and with 3rd strike I can definitely say its lagless. Maybe the new versions are fucked up?

+8 Internets | Played with it some this morning. I like it. I'll add this again, but I'm not a huge fighting nerd so what works for me probably would be a piece a shit to the pros. It's light and pretty small (I guess?) which makes it easy to sit in your lap. The stick makes a clicking noise when pressed in one of the 8 directions. It's kind of annoying at first, but I got used to it... it actually seems to help with my "fireball" motion but it might just be my imagination. It's not wireless. There's a headset jack in the bottom. It's got all the buttons that the 360 controller but obviously doesn't have the dual sticks. You could probably play a few arcade games with it but that's about it. If you're like me and simply despise the 360's D-pad but require it to play certain games (ala fighters), it's a pretty good purchase IMO. If you're way more hardcore than I am about fighters, you might want to blow the extra bucks for a better stick. For the casual fan, it's a good purchase.

| Blank, so does the joystick have 4 corners like the standard HRAP? I don't know of any circular/octagonal sticks that click. I've always loved the 4-cornered sticks for Tekken, but I've always thought SF arcades utilized octagons. Then again, SF4 is going to be the first Street Fighter game that I plan to play seriously, so I'm not going to claim experience here... |
