I've been fucking around with el fuerte lately and trying to learn his RSF. I was waiting at a table for my food to get ready the other day and noticed my fingers doing the motion for the RSF and was like wtf. I hope all this subconscious practicing helps.

Rumble in the Tundra III Winner Finals and Grand Finals. Buffalo's top player takes out Canada's top player like it was free. Whole thing went pretty good, we had close to 200 people.

I know the gouken was just showing off, but it's *so* not worth using fireballs in corner ultra combos. He would of killed him both times if he just ultra'ed after the ex DP.

Misread at first.

Good matches. Wish Chun Li would have won, that Gouken had an aggravatingly annoying playstyle to me. I have a hard time believing that out of the 30 million people who live in Canada, their guy is the "top player."

What's even more sad, is that he specifically trained against Gouken knowing Jug was his likely opponent. When he switched from Boxer(after getting trounced in winners finals), he said something like "What now!~ Surprise Counter-Pick!" cause no one(in the US) had ever seen him play Chun.

And he still got beat-down. Honestly Jug is on his way to the wong/arturo/valle/etc tier of players, it wasn't that JS masters was bad, he beat like 20 people straight to get to winners(and then grand) finals, and really is the top tier of Canadian players... Jug is just in a straight up higher caliber of player.

And I asked him about that Blank, he said unless your ultra meter is full, it ends up as more damage juggling the fireballs, showed me in training mode and it was only like 40; but he can do it consistently.

He's right it is more damage but having full ultra doesn't matter, it'll always be more damage. I thought Gouken's EX fireball counted as two hits (for scaling) but it only counts as one.

Unfortunately the "Tourney Results" on SRK auto-prunes after like only a month so I don't know where to link results, but he's a consistent winner/top ranker in Canadian tournaments. Rumble in the Tundra was born out of the tradition of Toronto players and Buffalo players talking shit to each other.

Yes, Canada(I guess I should start saying eastern canada...though that's like 80% of the population anyways between ontario and qubec) is really that bad at fighting games, they have 50x the amount of people, actually have functional arcades and game centers to practice every-day at(and do)...and you see the results

You can see more past results by changing the prune date.

Tournament Results - Shoryuken

edit: speaking of which, all the cvs2 tourney results from '02 are mad lol worthy. So much whining about RC.

Nice final match, very entertaining to watch.

Did anyone catch Seth saying that Rufus' ex snake strike was a bug at least damage wise, did I hear that right?
