Playing a character that most people don't play gives just as big of an advantage online than playing some of the higher tier characters. I know plenty of sakura players who rape face with her mix up game.

This is true, I know since I've got to g1 I've beat quite a few people who were clearly better than me just because no one has EVER seen a Dan in G1 it seems.

That's actually part of MY problem is that upon entering G2 I'm facing off against a bunch of characters I've never encountered before. In fact, I never once saw a Dhalsim until my very fist G2 match. In G3 it was mostly Ryu, Ken, and Akuma over and over.

Not that I disagree with you completely, but the "scrubs" he's facing likely don't even realize they're in a mix up when they get put into one which makes Sakura's mind games pretty fucking pointless.

On that note - is there any word on balance changes in SSF4?

Rarely do I ever call for a nerf in a situation like this, but I don't think there would be any complaints, even from Sagat players, if he got a nerf.

There was some interview that popped up on eventhubs where I believe Seth was talking about character changes and was specifically asked if Sagat was getting nerfed. He replied something along the lines of "No he is getting buffed, but so is everyone else"

Somewhat of a underwhelming response but I'm hoping it means people are getting more tools to deal with some of his antics.

Honestly, SF4 is pretty balanced. Yeah, Sagat is strong, but it's not like he is unbeatable.

Oh he's beatable for sure, the problem I have with him is how simple it is to do amazing with him. Basically all you need to learn is a proper tiger keep-away game and his FADC > roundhouse > ultra and you're golden, where as most other characters require far more to be that competitive.

Sagat is king. only pros can play him.

Honestly though I think if you're complaining about easily done ultras/supers. Ryu is the one your tears should be shedding towards.

light srk super juggle, aeriel medium punch ultra/super juggle, timing an ultra against a normal enemy projectile and hitting them with recovery frames? ex tatsu ultra in the corner, ex fireball ultra in the corner, simply looking at him the wrong way ultra to the dick. etc..

But lets be serious here.. the only person that needs a nerf is dan's super taunt xx ultra. That shit is pro.

I figured they would go that route. Its too hard to balance by taking away, its much easier to balance by giving everyone a move or 2 that helps them in their weak spot.

Sagat's dont really bother me. I have freaking problems with a good Vega, that stupid jump fucks me up alot. I play Gen now though, so that could be a reason why. Guiles are a pain in the ass for me as well.

I mean, i lose to other characters too i played some dude that was like a 60,000 point Rose the other day, he raped me fast. We played again about 20 min later and i beat him 2-0. I was all happy, dude had massive skills with rose though.

Dude was a 60,000 Rose as his main. Dude was good with her. Plus i didnt know her tactics. I did win the 2nd time when facing him 2-0. I also play one of the hardest characters in the game with Gen.

New SSF4 details from French website : News : EventHubs.com

A rough translation of a french article says that Sagat and Seth were both singled out for a nerf. I can only assume they mean the arcade version of Seth and I'd assume all versions of Sagat. I hope more of it gets translated though for some specifics.
