Problem is this isn't 8+ hours of content. It's 3-4 hours of quality content, 2 hours of "Boy this looks entirely rushed" followed by 2-3 hours of repetitive sidequests after of which completing 2 or more makes you have an urge to toss your dick in a blender.

Which means 5-7 for the actual game, 2-3 more if you want to do boring repetitive sidequests.

Learn to add, learn to read, I don't give a fuck, but do it because you want to better yourself. Not so you quit looking like a fucking moron on a gaming forum.

Buy the game if you want to support Schaefer or are so into metal music that you will explode if you cannot play it now and you want to play it over and over again.

Rent it if you want to beat the campaign and move on because it is short as fuck and if it wasn't Schaefer everyone would be saying rent it anyway.

The point is those 5-7 hours you claim to be actual gameplay, are fucking metal. In this case, metal means awesome, amazing, brutal, sweet, or whatever word that'll make it buyable in your brain.

I didn't mean that. Metal was a play on words, hence why I said metal = awesome, amazing, brutal, etc. Meaning that the game is fucking good and you should buy it regardless because those 5-7 hours of "actual" gameplay are worth every penny, not just because of the metal music.

Though it does have the best soundtrack of all time. I'm actually afraid that no game will ever sound this good again.

Well I got 99% complete. Not sure exactly how long it took but I know I didn't really get bored except during some secondary missions. If they make another I'd expect a lot of different secondary missions, a bit longer story, and tons more music. Still a great game.

I guess it's a good thing you weren't paying for your own games in the NES-SNES eras - 99% of those games were 1 hour, maybe 2 hours tops of actual content (and that's not doing speed runs). They didn't cost less than games do now either. Go up to the PS1 era and the majority weren't that much longer either.

When I say that a game which lasts only 8 hours is not worth 60$ for me, I mean that it is not worth more than 100$ for me (I am living in Germany, so a 60$ actually is a 69€ game, which is more than 100 US dollars). I just used the term 60$ so that I am not confusing you guys too much.
If the game would cost 40 Euro (which is 60$), I would buy an 8 hour game in a heartbeat.
But I guess it is my fault that I did not explain that to the right extent, mea culpa.

BUT (again), when I say that it is not worth 60$ for me, how can you argue that? I am by no means claiming that my opinion is the objective truth of the universe, my opinion is as subjective as things can get. A bike maybe is worth 7.5k for me and you say "well, I would not pay more than 1k for a bike", how is that a debatable point? It is totally subjective, so your answer that my opinion is pure and utter bullshit is a bit impolite.

Other than that I thought a bit about your arguments and I have to change my opinion. When I think back there are so many games that weren't well developed and ended up on the shelf after like 2 hours of gaming time. When a game is good and you loved every minute (like Heavenly Sword which is one of my favourite games) and you play it for 8 hours, it might be well worth its price.
There is only one thing: How do you know that this game is loveable and that good? You don't and when there are many claims on the internet that the content is only good for 6 hours you think twice about buying it full price, at least I do.

Now excuse me, I have to order Uncharted 2
