About half an hour to go on the download - I bet it's grabbing it from the US Server, there's no way the Euro server is overloaded at this time.

From the Major Nelson podcast with Ken Levine:

Demo is 45 min to a hour long
It is the start of the game but they changed it from the retail. Ken says he hates having to play the areas from the demos over once the game comes out so they changed it a bit.

I get to the list of new arrivals with bioshock listed and it just sits there... I'm glad to see my money being put to good use =p

Woo, 30% - Some days I love you 8mb cable internet. It sat there for ~60 seconds thinking about life when I selected it, until it let me start the dl. Going fast as hell now.
