That demo was sick (and incredibly creepy). I'll probably play it, but I'll have to play with roomates so I don't have to control all the time. I get too creeped out

I never said the graphics weren't awesome... they are. I just think I'm not into FPS anymore, with the exception of GoW. (3rd person shooter, I suppose) Stick control was great though.

As for games releasing in 07...

Mass Effect
Eternal Sonata
Lost Odyssey
Blue Dragon
Ace Combat 6

One game per month - that's a lot of gaming.

... one per month isn't enough for me. I need 3-4 per month to be truly satisfied.

Hmmm. Lessee:

Mass Effect
Mario Galaxy
Zelda DS

So I got to three and only one (Mass Effect) am I anticipating more than Bioshock. I suppose people will want Halo3 and Super Smash Bros but what else is there?
I can probably pick 20 games that I want this Fall.

FOR INSTANCE, your list lacks Rock Band. What the fuck, mate?

I've got a pretty hefty list of games I want to get for the 360 too, but damn, after the rave reviews, this rates pretty high. Granted I don't have internet hooked up at my new house yet so I can't play the demo.

Demo was awesome. Wow.

I was on the fence about buying the 360SE but now...jesus that was some sweet-ass gaming.

Great ending to the demo too...very suspensful.

yeah, this game is freaking awesome. Total system shock 2 vibe. Only complaint is the searching bodies/etc function. Seems like a really fickle piece of shit, where the cursor has to be JUST right at JUST the right distance.

Other than that, A+++.

Bioshock looks a lot like Half-Life 2 in terms of gameplay to me for some reason. And since System Shock used to creep me out when I was younger, I'm not looking forward to this that much.

But the art deco style constantly holds my interest. ><

Lol, I kind of meant in walking around and stuff. I'm aware of the cooler aspects, believe me.

I think it's the wrench he's running around with. Reminds me of Freeman's crowbar.

How long is this game supposed to be, anyone know? It's definitely a game I wouldn't touch again after playing.
Once you know the entire layout of each area + what to do to be most effective it's clocking in at around 10-12 for those that have played it like every day for a few months.

In terms of never touching it after one play though, you do know there are multiple ways to beat it don't you, and there are achievements for those ways....you're looking at ~3 play throughs to beat it fully.

[EDIT]

And yeah, much love for Murr's comment regarding the engine
