so I am curious to know the answer to my question noone answered!

Why did Andrew Ryan get himself killed? He could have easily killed Jack (Would you kindly get stepped on by a Bigdaddy? or whatever).

Oh and I almost felt attached to Atlas...Lame it turned out that he was actually montaigne..

Andrew Ryan believed that people should think for themselves and decide their own actions. This is very reason on which Ryan built Rapture for.

Telling Jack to kill himself would be going against the very thing he believed in. Andrew Ryan is what made the story in Bioshock so great. He is eccentric about how Rapture should be.

As should be obvious, Jack's Ryan's biological son with Jasmine Jolyne. Ryan figures this out right before you meet him, and alludes to it, and is trying to make a point/free Jack, or prove to himself that his own son wouldn't be a slave. "A man chooses, a slave obeys!"

Playing through a second time, I found it a bit more obvious, knowing what I already did.

Note that Jack is only 2-3 years old when you play Bioshock

when I made to escape ryan's office, I saw a real little girl running, she said "this way mister!" and a few of them showed me to the vent. I fell and woke up in the orphanage with the crazy lady and all the little girls. I had saved girls the whole game...what happens at that point if you didn't save the girls?

so I finally got around to playing Bioshock. I beat it and now trying to get achievements. I'm fucked on historian because I missed 1 at the beginning.

I saved all the little sisters but I'm short on adam for the last plasmid in the machine. I only have like 20 adam left and the last plasmid is 80. Is there an adam cap? Maybe I was full and I left some on a bear someplace. If this is what happened, would the bear still be there?

It's been awhile, but if I remember correctly you don't get enough Adam to buy all the upgrades (including tonics health bonuses and adam bonuses) so you might have just run out. That's if you buy as soon as they're available. Some things decrease in value as you progress in the game.

If that isn't the case and you just forgot to pick up one of your bears, then yes it should still be where they left it.
