| Played the game about 3 hours straight and only stopping because I have things to do. If you liked System Shock 2, your going to love this game. Hasn't been scary, but the story told through tapes and decor is amazing. Graphics are great and I notice no slow down while playing. Combat definitely ramps up, even when you first start there are things missing that were in the demo that make the start of the game harder (turrents, camras, etc). The little sister's cut scenes arent nearly as bad as that PC Gamer reviewer made them out to be. You see them dying or saving them up to the last second. Its not like you just choose yes or no and its done. I've decided to let them live this time just for the achievement. In short, this game not only lives up to the hype but exceeds it for me. This is one game I've been following from the begining as a huge fan of SS2 and Dues Ex which I believe they made as well. |

| Heh, now some people have managed to buy the PC version too, and when they try to install it all that comes up is a dos box saying you can't before the 21st. Online activation in a single player game is so gay.

| Thats cause it is one of those rare things where it is actually as good as hype made it out to be. Its one of those situations where games as an art form truly lives up to potential. This is one of those games that other developers should look to and say damn we really need to look at what these guys are doing and see how we can try and capture some of the magic they've managed to put into their game. It isn't necessarily just how the game looks or plays, its the whole package. This game has fantastic production values, plays on your emotions, allows you to actually care about your character and what is going on in the game, tells a great story, and is actually fun to play. Plus the graphics are simply some of the best I've seen yet in any game. The developers actually tried to incorporate new things into the standard fps. They thought outside the box, but remained inside it to keep things familiar and also because frankly, first person shooters as a genre is a great way to tell a story that makes a person playing feel like they're actually there. Originality is all too rare, but this game actually injects a bit and really shines. This game should really move some consoles, but unfortunately the advertising doesn't seem to be there. It should be a big hit on the hardcore 360 and PC crowd, but it doesn't seem to be making much of a dent on the consciousness of everybody else. I would buy a 360 just for this game (if I didn't have one already). Last edited by Whoknows; 08-15-2007 at 11:35 PM.. |

+79 Internets | fuck 360 its a great console but playing a fps on a console is fucking retarded......Not as retarded with the advancements of HD TV and all that but still.....PC version is gonna have mods and shit extending replay value. 360 might give you something but you gonna pay for it. |

| Only MMO on computers. I dont play anything else. So for me playing a fps on a console is going to be great for me. It looks awesome, the demo played freaking great. In the end isnt that all that matters?

+4 Internets | I finally got a chance to play the demo last night. What everyone has said so far about the graphics is true. This game is insane. The environments are awesome. Also, it really feels like you are in the game, very rare for games now-a-days. Cant wait for the real thing to come out! |

+17 Internets | Well I'm impressed. Pretty fun game, better graphics (imho) than GoW and better frame rate. GoW chugged in a lot of places, at least on HD widescreen. Maybe they optimized the U3 engine since then. |
