+17 Internets | Enchanted Arms So, I picked this up two days ago and have about 23 hours played into it now. It's really not as bad as people made it out to be - especially the voice acting. I can understand not liking someone's voice, but for fuck's sake do confuse disliking someone's voice with poor quality voice-acting. There's a mountain of difference and this game's VA is average at its worst parts. Perhaps people just haven't played games with truly bad voice acting where people just stiffly read lines off a script rather than performing the lines. Please do not confuse this with not liking a flamboyant fag's voice (the guy's voice is done very well, btw). All around, the game is pretty average. It's nothing special, but it's not bad or horrible and doesn't suck. I'm enjoying it so far - average is perfectly fine with me. It actually has a very FFX feel to the area designs and linearity, which isn't necessarily a bad thing either. The combat is... kind of Arc the Lad-ish and entertaining and quick enough (I love the quickness of it, actually). It's also a rather pretty game. Maybe I'm just really forgiving of shit, but I think this game got some seriously undeserved hate. If you want to see true garbage, go play Unlimited SaGa. |

| I don't what it was... but the game bored me about 5 hours into it and I haven't touched it since then. It was one of the games I purchased when I bought my Xbox360.

| I pretty much have the same Tastes as Sean for the most part Phelps in RPGS heh. I just didn't enjoy this game for some reason. I think it's becuase I was letting the game autoplay ;\ in battles.

+17 Internets | Auto-play for the random encounters is one of the best parts of it imo. Especially for grinding for cash to buy every skill/golem at a vendor pre-Casino. Once the Casino is available though you don't really need to grind for it anymore. *Note that if an RPG puts in a Casino with a Roulette table I *will* exploit the shit out of it like I learned to many, many years ago. | Don't get me wrong. Given enough free time to play video games, I will take any RPG over FPS_319, even .Hack (err... maybe). With a realistic amount of free time, it is hard for me to look past horrible combat systems that are 75% of the game play. |

+17 Internets | I just don't agree that the combat is that bad. It's not much different than any other turn-based RPG out there. If you dislike that kind of RPG, sure, it isn't for you - but it's pretty much just like everything else and fairly normal. |

| Yeah I keep coming back to this, loading it up and then putting something else in...just can't get into playing it (have a save at the casino but just too annoying with the load times to put the effort into exploiting it). That being said however, the first major cutscene was one of the best I have seen in any game and if there are more of those I'll really have to suck it up to beat it. |
