Cheesy dialogue is a pre-requisite of any Resident Evil game. It's welcome to say the least. I'd call it absolutely necessary.

Surfing on YouTube I found that old video that should have been the inspiration for Resident Evil V.

Look I laugh at the cheesy dialog as much as the next guy, don't get me wrong. However, I feel like the story could be much stronger and actually kind of cool with appropriate dialog.

I hear you. I just see it differently. There are plenty of games (just like movies) that benefit from being scientifically sound with an explainable story. And then there are games where the wackiness is completely intended, and I enjoy that aspect of them. The disparity comes in when games that have incredible graphics and engaging gameplay, like RE4, and the story is still in the clouds. Something I don't have a problem with, but I understand the opposition...

RE4 is my favorite game. I can't count how many times I've played through it. I don't have a problem with it either way, just saying I'd prefer it to have a badass storyline/dialog along with the engaging gameplay.

Between co-op for this and Left 4 Dead it'll be a fucking zombiestastic year in gaming! Out side of the FF13 announcement I think the co-op in RE was the second biggest game related announcement at the MS show.

All the over sensitivity shit needs to die a quick death.

The game looks good though. Wish they'd implement iron sites or a targeting reticle options instead of just the red laser but whatever.

There were like 2 Zombros out of all those zombies. They totally self censored themselves.

Yeah I agree co-op is a step in the right direction for the franchise, especially since it's lost its survival-horror genre since Resident Evil 4 and has become more of a horror action shooter genre now (were you seriously scared at any time during RE4 compared to RE1?).. anyways, I am really hoping co-op is not restricted to online play only and can also be played co-op in the same room with two controllers like Gears of War.
