| In other news: Jesus is making his return. He's decided to hold the return party at Sean's house on October 23rd. When asked for comments he replied "I just gotta play me some motherfuckin' Ace Combat, man". |

| Bullshit. A DVD enabled Wii? Sure. Blu-Ray? Fuck no. I mean Nintendo hasn't even gotten around to DVDs yet. -_-

| It's not even that. For one, I don't think Nintendo would even consider putting Blu-Ray on the Wii. It would cause the price to increase for one, and two; HDTV adaption is still low as hell. Sony probably wouldn't allow it because the PS3 is touted as the only console that plays BR movies. Giving that advantage to their competition would be ridiculous. I can't believe people are stupid enough to make this shit up and think people will believe them.

| What would Nintendo's motive be for adding Blu-Ray, exactly? The story sounds retarded, imo; no one stumbles into an office and observes everything he's saying. He was just standing there while they ejected the disc and put it away in a clearly labeled Blue-Ray case? Ok... |

| Seeing as you can buy a progressive dvd player with component/digicoax plugs for $25 at walmart or target, i highly doubt anyone gives a fuck whether a game console that costs 10x as much can also play DVD's. |

| That's understandable Chris since most toasters nowadays have enough processing power to play a regular DVD and DVD players are ~$30. The problem I had was how anyone could actually think that it could magically play a HD format without any significant upgrades to both the optical drive and processor. Posting rumors is alright, if there is credible evidence to support it. Posting retarded stuff like this is not. OT: +1 for the avatar Frax. Last edited by Aegdaien; 07-28-2007 at 03:59 PM.. |

| I like the fact that the guy that "walked into the wrong room" lingered there enough time to see the remote, how the wii glowed, one of the guys standing up, stopping the movie, ejecting it, grabbed the box for the movie and carefully put it in, in an... oh of course, undeniable blu-ray case, while watching the screen as well and looking at the "wii watch" channel title. I'm sure he took his shoes off too, and stole some popcorn.... |
