Check the DMC4 TGS trailer for stylish cutscenes. That's how Too Human should look, in my opinion.
I reserved Too Human when I first bought my Xbox 360 a while ago from hearing all the hype about it, so hopefully it'll be amazing. I need to check out this trailer.

I also cannot wait for DMC4. That game is crazy stylish and has beautiful animations and artwork. I'm glad it jump ship to the Xbox 360.

I was looking forward to Burnout Paradise but after seeing it is open ended in some American city, I'm not so sure anymore. Part of what I thought made Takedown and Revenge so great were the unique tracks that were spread out all over the world, but I'm totally uncertain if they can pull off the great tracks in an open ended environment like in Paradise. Sure the graphics and the gameplay look good but it doesn't matter too much if the tracks suck in a game like Burnout.

From what I read they're taking parts of cities around the world and molding them into one larger city. I think it will make for a better game, lieky ou won't be in "asian city" you'll drive through "chinatown" as part of the overall track but won't be limited to only that.

As for the tracks, I have nothing but faith in them, every game they've released has improved on the last as far as the tracks go.

Burnout needs to take a page out of the SF: Rush series. And by page, I mean keys.

Do it now.

This week's Famitsu has revealed more details on Resident Evil 5 which was recently shown at E3.

The story takes place roughly 10 years after the Raccoon Incident in the first Resident Evil game. The character which we've seen in the trailer is confirmed to be former S.T.A.R.S. member Chris Redfield. He now works for an organization called BSAA and was sent to a location (shown in the trailer) to investigate on a special case. Producer Jun Takeuchi comments, "What has happened to Chris during these 10 years? By showing his past, we can begin to unravel things that were not resolved in Resident Evil 4. In fact, Resident Evil 5 will retain most of its gameplay style [from Resident Evil 4] with some new features which I cannot talk about yet at this point."

The producer did mention though that the game will have more distinction between light and darkness, "For example, as Chris enters a building, his eyes has to gradually adjust to the dark indoors. The same can be said with the opposite where stepping out from a dark place would cause glare to his eyes."

He also adds, "The enemies this time are not zombies nor are they Los Ganados either, but are quite smart, human-like creatures. One of the main theme in this game is that Chris is fighting for a cause that is not really clear. Is he fighting for good or evil?"

The E3 trailer will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace this July 27 in Japan so expect to see it on North American around the same time as well.
Well that's gay. Bring back zombies imo.

Gametrailers doesn't have any H.264 videos though... They're all either Flash, WMV or SVQ3. They just have the filename with h264 in it.. but it's a lie. They're using the Sorenson Codec.

If they say "Resident Evil 4-esque," I'm sold no matter what. I cannot wait.

They had my $50 before I even saw a screenshot of RE5 but I honestly enjoyed the Zombies of 1-3 more than the Japanese tentacle rape machines of RE4.

In all honesty,
Was i the only person actually embarrased to watch the sony conference? Hitting on 'girls' on the home network.. his squeeky ass voice and vile attempts to appeal to the younger crowd.. just. gah, embarassed me all together.
