I really think releasing Gear of War so soon on the PC is a mistake. I know it was the only game atm that made me even entertain the idea of getting a 360 but then the failure rate stuff came out and I held off. I'm glad I did now.

Haha, yes I follow MC #s weekly (GAF shoutout). I was saying that selling better than the 360 in Japan is no guaranteed litmus test for healthy product, just like comparing your conference to the abominations at Nintendo/MS. Sony really surprised me, however, with a few unannounced titles: infamous, and that escher shit. I'd buy a PS3 if both of those games were good.

I am not sure if it was the sound mix of the shouts and gun shots or the bleak visuals, but Killzone 2 sounded like a trip in Hell. I mean its almost WWII nightmare meets FPS meets Silent Hill.

No they didn't. Those are the prices for the entertainment packs.

Ice Silver PSP + Daxter + Family Guy UMD Movie(?) + 1GB MemoryStick = $199
White w/Darth Vader Etching PSP + new Star Wars Battlefront game = $199

They didn't mention a price for just the core unit but I'm going to assume it's $169.00. They go on sale in September.

Am I the only one who hates the PSP due to the fact that it only has one analog stick but tries to emulate games that are best played with 2? Seriously, I would imagine the single analog stick is the biggest thing hindering many developers from properly designing their game for the PSP. Metal Gear could have definitely used the 2nd stick as well as many many others.

I dunno, I thought the Sony presentation was the worst. First the videos on the PSP screen on the Giant moniter...while having 2 dedicated screens to just the title of the game? what the fuck.

Then the PSP announcement..I was shocked it didn't have a touch screen. It would mirror their sixaxis shit~

And all the Home stuff..wow..it was pretty painful.

I'M NERVOUS.

I'd rather have a boring microsoft guy with slides than that shit.

The games are all really known already so it's not exactly anything groundbreaking out of any of them.

hands on Metroid Prime.

Person Writing this says that the controls are the best Ever(so far) for a console game.
