Agreed. I'll go ahead and disagree with Vorph and say that it was by no means the "best" of anything (sans 'best translation' of the Darkness world in a video game, which does count for something I'll admit), but I won't deny that it was a solid and good game all-in-all.
I also must add a strike against Gothic.
Gothic 2 refused to load on three PC's that met the specs. I've been over the details of it on this board before so I won't suffer you. Just be aware that the game isn't always happy to be your friend.
No comment on Gothic 3 as I refuse to give JoWood any more money.
