QCON -- anyone going?

Was not sure which forum this should go in so hope I got it right. =p

Anyhow, was just curious if anyone here is going to qcon down in texas? I know it is the same weekend as blizzcon I believe, just was thinking if anyone is going we could all get together for drinks or something.

i might be in town that time. coincidently thats my hometown, if u want hit up Grapevine Texas' Premier Steak, Hamburger, Salad and Chili Restaurant - Tolbert's Restaurant on a sunday. its maybe 10mins from the gaylord, great drink specials on sundays($1 drafts, $6 mimosa pitchers, etc etc).

What's the date on this thing? Sorry I'm a bit ignorant about it all, but I'm visiting the area in the near future.

www.quakecon.com has all the info you will ever need on the event. The event is aug 2-5 and the Hilton in Downtown dallas. The event is always TOTALLY free.

I am currently signed up to the BYOC and will be staying the full 4 days. If your a gamer and are anywhere close to the area I would suggest your drop in.
