Game informer claims it is "Delayed Indefinitely" but EA is saying it just slipped into 09.

Biggest delay ever. Wasn't it originally supposed to come out this summer? Thats crazy they've delayed it so many times and so far back. They must of hit some pretty major problems or something.

That's incredible. I don't think DNF ever had as much to show as Spore, this delay is...wow.

I wonder if somewhere along the line they just seriously overreached and are in too deep to cut features but can't release as-is.

Pure speculation, but I get the feeling that it didn't quite feel like a game and WW doesn't know what to do to fix that yet.

Will Wright is just fucking anal. Unlike Duke Nukem Forever, this game will be released. I have faith in that. It's just gonna be a while.

It could be a good thing? Maybe they're trying to incorporate multi-platform capability. It'd be pretty bitchin if they could get it to play on PC/Wii/360/PS3. A lot can happen in two years...

After all this time I find it hard to care about the game anymore. Sure, it was exciting and novel when the hype train started initially, but when I have to wait 4 years to play a game that already drew a lot of my attention, I just give up and move on.

It simply isn't worth it now.
