| I've recommended this program before: joy2key It will take any gamepad/joypad input to your computer and feed the button inputs into keyboard emulation. Effectively allows you to use it on any application period. I recommend finding a nice PS2 -> USB converter. Probably run you under $20 shipped. No, I have no idea what a good one would look like anymore =( |

+2 Internets | I use a Niko Airflow. It's nothing fancy, but it works extremely well with every game. Plus it has those nifty fans built into it to keep your hands cool during heated multiplayer sessions of ZSNES games. |

+4 Internets | Believe it or not, the radioshack adapter is highly recommended by the fighting game community as a quality lagless adapter. If it works well enough for games where split second timing counts, it will work fine for SNES rpgs. +17 Internets | The best PC controller hands down is the X360 controller. Pick up one of them for the PC (comes with an adapter to plug it in) and you won't be disappointed. Many newer games also straight up detect it as an X360 controller and maps the buttons accordingly - and they let you set it up as X, Y, A, B, ect rather than Button1, Button2, ect. It should also work great with emus. |

| If you want to use it for more than just emulation, get the 360 wired controller. Otherwise the Radio Shack thing is great (I have one, it works almost perfectly--the axes are reversed on the right stick, but I never ran into a game that I wasn't able to reconfigure it properly). |

| The logitech Rumblepad 2 is a pretty decent gamepad. Cheaper than a 360 controller and PS2 styling if you prefer your gamepads that way. Slightly more comfortable than the PS2 controller to hold for long periods of time. |

| I've been using a saitek p2500 for a few years now, it works with everything it seems. PS2 style except it only has 1 set of L buttons. A decent choice if you don't want to buy the 360 controller, however the 360 controller is worth it imo. |

| Pride Never Die | I use the Logitech Rumblepad on my PC. Pretty awesome controller and the batteries last forever in it.
