DS Hardware again R4DS

Alright I've recently become aware of a hardware mod called the R4DS - R4 (R4DS) - Revolution for DS NDS NDSL Wholesales Index Page - which is different than the G6 as it's actually for the DS slot and takes advantage of DS features.

Does anyone own the R4 addon and could give some feedback about it?

I just bought it and love it a lot more then my G6.

It is simple and the drag and drop makes my day. It is compatible with everything under the sun and requires no software.

I ordered the DSone supercard last night and it should hopefully get to my place by the end of the week. I can't wait to try it out.

I have it aswell, it works wonders and the package is good.

The only annoying thing is those micro SD cards, I broke one 10minutes after unpacking... handle with extreme care =/

Can't you play GBA roms with the G6 where you need to buy something else to be able to play them with the R4 though Suineg?

I'm pretty sure that the R4 and DSone don't support .GBA, which is fine by me, since I'm only really interested in FFIV, FFv and VI.

Slot 1 devices don't play GBA games.

R4DS/M3 Simply are hands down the best Slot 1 devices around. If you want to play GBA games, you'll need to buy a flashcart.

Yeah, I have the M3 and Passkey, but I'm thinking about picking up a Simply or R4 just so I don't have all this crap sticking out of my Lite. Then I can always use the M3 to play any GBA stuff(which is practically never now anyway).

Well I still have my Slot 2 G6 where I can keep GBA games and R4 has an option to boot to the Slot 2 so if you buy both it's a win win right

ok just got my MicroSD card in the mail today. (20$ through amazon ) and I'm just waiting for my R4DS to arrive. For those with it, any recomendations for homebrews to get?

I'm already planning on grabbing sylphAmp to stream audio from winamp on my computer.
