What's "Killing Floor"? All I could find was that it's a game coming out in 2009 and that it's also an Unreal mod. The same treatment a la L4D?

Edit: Ah, I just found it on Steam. Looks interesting.

More than likely L4D. Mostly due to versus mode, that's pretty hard to top. I am purchasing Killing Floor because it's more along the lines of what I enjoy in zombie/survival games. You can purchase L4D for around $24 on steam right now, I'm not sure if they add tax. If you want a hard copy of the game, Amazon has L4D for $26.99 w/ free shipping.

Nice, Valve extended the free play another ~16 hours. I was kind of annoyed that I wasn't actually going to get to play more than maybe 1 or 2 games if it was going to end at 7pm EST tonight.

I can probably just check when I get home, but is there a L4D game mode that is all co-op or at least never requires you to play infected side?

Campaign is on-line co-op with no player infected, Survival is co-op with no player infected as well.

I haven't played it on 360, but have friends who do... heard the stories and can only imagine. Though with the free weekend+sale, I haven't seen so many horrible teams ever. It funniest when the teams are talking crap post round when the total score for all levels ends up being under 1k. If todays kids are the future, then the future is fucked.

Two horrible teams is about the best you can hope for when pubbing. Otherwise, you're on the team everyone rage quits off because the other one rolls them, or vice versa. And i've mentioned it before, but I really hope the next next patch/update whatever addresses cheesing horde events. I can really only think of like 3 levels where it's really an issue off the top of my head (NM3, BH2, and DA4) but it is really fucking stupid you can start a horde event, throw a moli or blow a gas can and then just run the rest of it with no zombie spawns.

Thankfully I rarely meet kids that behave the same way offline as online :>

They have a stats page up for it now...

Not sure when it started tracking, it lists me as 35K Zombie kills but I have the 53K achievement and it shows that as well, so probably missed the first months tracking. Most interesting stat on mine from my point of view is that out of 711 VS games I have played I have only completed 57.

I can list a variety of reasons for this, and I'm sure many here can, I wonder if Valve will take a look at that specific stat...

Yeah, apparently I have 46 651 uzi shots fired with 100% accuracy... ahah. The accuracy stats seem way off since I was missing earlier. Similar situation with the versus matches, 604 played and only 83 completed.

I love these stat pages though.
