+46 Internets | Yeah it's really a game for the Fun > Graphics crowd. Though the explosions are pretty nice, as long as you're not too close to them. Then you get bad slowdown(360! WTF!!). So anyone who has gotten 100% clear wanna give me some tips for the last 2 levels on inferno? I'm stuck at 99.25. Do I just need to farm more health? I want that fucking Genocide Gun! edit: There *is* a battle mode for split screen friend killing, but it's pretty sparse and feels totally tacked on. And the vehicles are unbalanced.

| So I just rented this game from the local Blockbuster (had 3 copies, wtf?). Most fun I've had in awhile. Its basically Starship Troopers on Earth. Except on Crack. Lots of love for my NPC allies. They may not be the brightest folks around, but 30 of them with rocket launchers can hold off all but the most determined baddies. Not sure why anyone would complain about the graphics. Its no Gears of War, but its got decent graphics with a fully explodable environment and a horizon that goes on for miles and miles. Yes, there can be some slowdown. But only in the most massive of setpiece battles. Definitely worth picking up, even if you only rent it. Last edited by Wildstone; 08-12-2007 at 02:38 AM.. |

+5 Internets | I went around today to try and find a cheap copy. Apparently the word got out on this game. It's back up to $40 new and $36 used. The 2 people on my friends list with this game both said they bought it over a month ago from Gamestop/EB for $20 used.

+3 Internets | Bought this today after all the buzz here and from some other forums I've read. I went into this with high expectations of having fun. I'm only five levels in but it doesn't matter. If you own a 360, YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME. PERIOD. |

| Holy fuck.. is it really that good? So many praising and no non-negative reviews is very tempting.

+2 Internets | I went into this game not expecting much but my brother and I played through the whole thing on co-op in a couple sittings. The over-the-top destruction and the shear amount of different weapons that you unlock really kept me entertained. For the price I'd have to say this is a must own game for the 360. |

+3 Internets | Well at this point it's under $20 for wherever you can buy it. Additionally, it doesn't just not take itself seriously, but the action and voice-work are so over the top that you just can't help but to laugh manically while shit is just flying in every direction around you. |

+19 Internets | I play this game a lot at a friends house and yeah, it's awesome. This review pretty much sold me on it: Earth Defence Force 2017 Review // Xbox 360 /// Eurogamer - Games Reviews, News and More
